"I had a medical abortion when I was 22 after my contraceptive failed. I was happily married and just beginning my career. My husband was in graduate school. My husband and I believed we were not ready to become parents, financially or emotionally.

The only lasting effect of my abortion is that I make a monthly donation to Planned Parenthood." —Judith
