"I was 22 when I found out I was pregnant. It was the month before I graduated from college. This was the hardest choice I had to make in my whole life.

My boyfriend, now husband, was not ready to handle that kind of responsibility. He and I were very much still kids ourselves. He was convinced I would keep it. He told me he would support my choice no matter what.

I know a lot of people my age would probably not abort or would choose adoption. I chose the abortion for a number of different reasons. At the end of the day it was my body, my life and my choice. No one could make it for me and no one had a right to judge my decision.

I decided what was best for me at that particular time. It doesn't make you a horrible person by any means. I still stand by it and full heartily support those who really take a look at their life and make a choice that is best for them." —Kayla
