About Preterm

Preterm is an independent, nonprofit abortion clinic that provides a safe, nonjudgmental space for women and supports the full range of pregnancy options. Located in Cleveland, Ohio, we have served the women of Cuyahoga County, Northeast Ohio, Western Pennsylvania, and beyond since our founding by women's health advocates in 1974.

We provide compassionate, high-quality abortion care, birth control education and supplies, adoption planning, options counseling, and related services in a caring and comfortable environment.

It is our goal that women leave here feeling empowered and affirmed.

As part of the reproductive justice movement we advocate for a woman’s right to determine whether or when to have children, to become a parent and to parent with dignity, to have a healthy pregnancy, and to have healthy and safe families and relationships.
